Anxiety & Trauma Therapy for Teens, Adults, and Those Navigating Neurodiversity
In-Person In Los Angeles and Via Telehealth
I work with teen and adult women dealing with issues related to childhood trauma, family of origin dynamics, anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, boundary-setting, relationship challenges, and the struggle of people-pleasing. Through a relational and trauma-informed approach, I aim to be a guide and container as you navigate through life. Together, we’ll uncover your strengths, unravel and unpack the fierce emotions that feel overwhelming, and come up with some practical strategies to allow your nervous system to take a breath.

Let's face it - being a teenager in today's world is TOUGH. I support teens in finding their voice, honing in on their interests, exploring problem solving and developing confidence. With pressures from social media, academic demands, and shifting relationships, many teens face feelings of anxiety, depression, and self-doubt. In a supportive therapeutic environment with a Gen Z/Millenial "cusper", your teen can explore their emotions, develop coping strategies, and build resilience with someone who is up to date on the modern complexities of adolesence.

In today’s fast-paced world, many face challenges such as work-related stress, relationship difficulties, feelings of isolation, and the pressures of societal expectations. Navigating major life transitions, managing anxiety or depression, and balancing personal and professional demands can feel overwhelming. Sometimes we say yes to requests and demands to make others happy, when we really want to say no.
By delving into the origins of your beliefs and behaviors, you'll develop a more resilient sense of self and engage in relationships from a place of empowerment and authenticity, free from the need for others' approval. Therapy offers a valuable opportunity to gain insights and develop coping strategies tailored to your unique experiences. Together, we’ll work to uncover your strengths, address your challenges, and empower you to lead a more fulfilling life.

The parent-child bond is considered unique and dynamic, often shaping both individuals profoundly. This therapeutic process fosters open communication and understanding, allowing both parties to explore their emotions, perspectives, and relational dynamics. By creating a safe and supportive environment, we aim to enhance connection, resolve conflicts, and nurture healthier interactions.
Whether navigating transitions, improving communication, or simply deepening your relationship, working as a dyad can offer tools and insights to build a more fulfilling and resilient partnership. Through awareness and empathy, both parents and teens can grow together and strengthen a supportive connection.

Neurodiversity-affirming therapy is an inclusive approach that recognizes and celebrates the unique experiences and strengths of neurodivergent individuals, such as those with autism, ADHD, and other neurological differences. I am a firm believer in unlocking each client's strength and resiliency, focusing on understanding each person's distinct ways of thinking, feeling, and interacting with the world. By fostering an environment of acceptance and support, I empower individuals to embrace their identities, develop coping strategies that work for them, and enhance their overall well-being while honoring their unique perspectives and lived experiences.
“Rewiring” Your Brain
Here’s the thing - safe, loving relationships are the biggest agent to change. Period. I can and will utilize all of the evidence-based modalities in my repertoire, but the thing that will matter the most is the relationship we build and share together. That is the greatest catalyst to change. Our lives are shaped by the relationships we have - in our early years, with others, and ourselves. Bringing in science and interpersonal neurobiology shows us that we are shaped, and are who we are in relation to others. Our brains are hardwired to connect, and these connections have the power to hurt us or empower us. Fortunately, the brain has the amazing capacity to heal, and this is achieved through compassion, emotional safety, and trust. We will delve into your story together and retrain your neural pathways. The changes in your perception of others and yourself will become an integral part of you as you “rewire” your brain for healthy relationships and emotional responses.
