Frequently Asked Questions

How much does therapy cost and do you take insurance?

Sessions are $185 per 50 minute session.

At this time, I am an out-of-network provider who does not bill directly through insurance. I am happy to provide a superbill, which is a receipt of services that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company to discuss if this is an option with your policy.

Some helpful questions to ask your insurance company:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?

  • What is my deductible for out-of-network coverage? Has it been met?

  • What percentage of each session will I receive as reimbursement? (You might need to specify that CPT code 90834 for a 45-minute psychotherapy session will be used).

  • How do I submit claims for reimbursement?

Cancellations & Rescheduling

All clients will automatically receive appointment reminders via text/email 24 hours prior to session.

Changes to appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance or will be subject to be charged at full session fee.

How long will I be in therapy?

In the same way that I do not adhere to a one size fits all approach to therapy, determining the length of therapy is also quite variable. Ultimately, the decision rests jointly between us. You are in the driver’s seat, and I aim to support you in the best way possible to address your individual needs. This may include short-term therapy, or longer-term support if needed or desired.
